Jane Eyre Inspired Anniversary Shoot

In our opinion, there’s not much better than curling up with a delicious cup of tea and fantastic book on a cozy afternoon. Bonus points if said book is what we would define as one of the “romance classics.” This translates to basically anything written by our besties, Brontë #1, Austen, Heyer, and Brontë #2. Now, in our wildest dreams we would have wished to use one of these talented authors and one of her timeless novels as inspiration in …oh we don’t know… a photo shoot with a significant other, perhaps? But due to the incredible generosity of Trinity Photography and our gorgeous couple, Justin + Chastity, our dreams have become reality. Behold their amazing Jane Eyre inspired anniversary shoot.

According to Trinity, “these two are high school sweethearts who were married three years ago at their Gatsby styled wedding.” Give us a moment while we mourn the fact that our invite for that wedding got lost in the mail. To commemorate their love and the fact that they’ve hit such a wonderful milestone, they decided to do an anniversary shoot. But not just any anniversary shoot. “Keeping with the dramatic theme, they wanted something moody and romantic,” noted Trinity (basically Jane Eyre in a sentence). Chastity, a graphic designer, had a very hands on approach in helping design her own shoot.

She wore a gorgeous white empire-waisted ball gown and a breathtaking emerald green dress. Trinity said she wanted “lots of wild curly hair and flowing dresses with a gold branch headpiece to embellish the look.” These dresses absolutely help to enhance the connection to the theme. She embodies the romanticism, innocence, and drama of such a classic novel. Our boy, Justin, is giving us the new and improved Mr. Rochester. We are particularly fond of the all black outfit he wore for the second half of the shoot. He’s really tapping into that dark brooding hero that we all know and love.
