Sometimes we come across events that so purely capture the love of a couple, it completely tugs at our heartstrings. Obviously, in any wedding we feature, romance is evident. But every so often we’re sent an event in which the emotions are actually palpable. When you then add a unique venue, vintage touches, and a wheel of cheese wedding cake (you heard us right), the event transforms from being jaw-dropping to just strictly unfair. Thanks to Emma Mullins Photography for sending over this romantic Milwaukee wedding in a historical mansion that has left us feeling like true love really does exist.

Set at the Charles Allis Art Museum, this architectural gem has since been converted to a museum after its owners passed. Originally built in the early 1900’s, the house is strongly influenced by the English Tudor style, with symmetrical bay windows and a steeply pitched slate roof. It’s the perfect backdrop for any special occasion. And in our case, the perfect backdrop for this truly special wedding.

Our gorgeous bride and groom are chefs in Milwaukee and met years ago in culinary school. They wanted their wedding day to be as unique and personal as possible, so they planned the entire thing themselves. After you see how gorgeous their wedding turned out to be, you’ll also sign our petition for these two to start a planning/catering company. Heard it here first.

The stunning details of the venue, decor, and styling blended together seamlessly to create such a spectacular event. Shout out to Emma Mullins Photography for so masterfully capturing this very emotional, very beautiful, and very special day. Trust us, guys. You won’t be disappointed with this one.
