We find it so interesting that each bygone era speaks to a different type of person. Whether it be the fashion, culture, geography, or societal trends, it’s almost as if these coveted traits speak to us on a deeper level. Perhaps that’s why bohemian lovers dream of attending Woodstock or Jane Austen fanatics lust after the Regency period. Either way, we adore when a couple embraces their love for a different time and incorporates it into their Big Day. Which is why we are crushing on this 1970’s sunset inspired elopement sent over from the talented people at Adrian Etheridge Photography.

According to Adrian, “the elopement details, like decor and accessories, focus on the personal touches that the couple care about. From the groom’s “DOPE” shirt and the colors of the 70’s vibe they love to the shoes worn by the bride that were her grandmother’s wedding shoes, the beautiful rings they’ve chosen for each other, and even the groom’s socks that proudly proclaim the couple’s NC roots.

Although not a time period often used as inspiration for weddings, we are absolutely loving the way this gorgeous couple incorporated it into their nuptials. For any of you other fans of the 70’s, use this wedding as inspiration!
