Sometimes there’s nothing more perfect than having a swanky formal wedding in a grand historic hotel. Other than making it simpler for your guests, hotels can offer such unique and stunning architecture that is sure to compliment any vintage wedding you may wish to have. Feeling like you need an example? Well you’re in luck! Our friends at Michael Novo Photography sent over this gorgeous formal vintage wedding in a historic Chicago hotel, and the only thing we’re mad about is that we weren’t invited.
According to Michael Novo, “Maggie and Grant are a classic Chicago couple…laid back, easy going and can carry on a great conversation. With the Intercontinental Hotel Chicago as their wedding venue it was the perfect spot to have their family gather to celebrate their wedding. Located on Michigan Avenue (Mag Mile) the property offers multitude of architecture both new and old as a backdrop for amazing wedding images. On top of that, the city streets and lights are just a quick trip out the front door.”
Our favorite details about this stunning soiree have to be the grand ballroom reception, elegant place card display, and the gold glitter bomb processional celebration. This wedding is seriously one for the books, or rather Pinterest boards these days. Don’t pass this one up!
