One of our all-time favorite things is historic hotels. Everything from the architecture and decor to the ambiance and setting make them truly special places to get a cocktail visit. So when we get sent weddings that occur at these stunning gems, we just can’t help but share them with all of you. Our friends at CivicPhotos sent over this gorgeous vintage southern wedding in a historic hotel and we’re loving every detail of it.
Set at The Tremont House in Galveston, Texas, this wedding truly came alive. This historic monument dates back to 1839 and was originally built the same year that Galveston was founded. It’s drawn visitors from across the world, including presidents and foreign ministers. It was the absolute perfect place for our beautiful bride and groom to celebrate their vintage nuptials.
We love how this couple took advantage of their surroundings, not only in their pictures, but also in all the gorgeous details. The color scheme in the bridesmaid dresses, florals, and decor especially seem to coordinate with the venue and truly bring this event to life. Big thanks to the talented people at CivicPhotos for sending over such a gorgeous shoot and capturing it so well!
