There’s nothing like a wedding at a stunning historical mansion to make you feel new again. We always love seeing the gorgeous landmarks that provide the perfect backdrop for our couples to get married. And today is no exception. Our friends at Lacey Gabrielle Photography sent over this absolutely gorgeous countryside historic estate wedding that will have you smiling from ear to ear.
According to Lacey, “Patrick & Leslie chose the beautiful Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown, CT to get married. This mansion, built in 1900, is incredibly stunning and was built by Colonel Wadsworth as a country summer residence. What makes this property so unique is the concern the Colonel had for the environment. He made sure that the landscape kept both forest and pastures which is still evident to this day.” Honestly, what does a gal have to do to find a Colonel to build a summer estate for them?
Our favorite thing about this wedding, you ask? The color palette. Now before you judge us on such a simple choice, hear us out. This wedding did an impeccable job at incorporating blush, ivory, and light green into their nuptials. The overall effect is romantic, delicate, and classic. This wedding feels extremely cohesive and that’s in big part to the consistency of colors and design.
Huge shout out to the insanely talented people at Lacey Gabrielle Photography. You guys knocked it out of the park in capturing such a magical event. Seriously, if you’re looking for some allstar photographers to document your big day, these are the ones.
