One of our favorite vintage inspirations that couples often channel is the 1920’s. As the era romanticized for glitz, glam, and parties, it kind of makes sense why it’s the historical go-to for weddings. Now, we will never ever get tired of the traditional take on such a classic time. However, we will also get unreasonably excited for the soirées that add a creative twist to such a classic style. So when our talented friends at K-Ruiz Photography sent over this edgy Roaring 20’s styled wedding shoot, we may or may not have stopped everything we were doing to obsess over it.
According to K-Ruiz, “taking some inspiration from 1920’s glamour and Gatsby-like extravagance, this wedding is perfect inspiration for the non-traditional bride. Gold linens, tons of florals and even some fur add drama and color to this intimate wedding.” We feel like this styled shoot is for all you hipsters out there that want a bit more glam for your big day. The darker and slightly moody vibe mixed with the touches of delicate elegance is a combination we never knew we needed! This is the wedding for the “too cool for school” couple of the 1920’s, and we think they’re onto something.
