Today we’re excited because we have another feature that shows off one of our all-time favorite time periods. A world filled with glitz, glam, and plenty of champagne. No, we’re not talking about our typical Tuesday night (we wish). We’re talking about the exciting era of the 1920’s. Although romanticized nowadays, it still serves as wonderful inspiration for weddings! So imagine our delight when our friends at Linda Murri Photography sent over this fabulous Great Gatsby styled wedding shoot.
Set at the gorgeous Grant Humphreys Mansion in Denver, Colorado, this classic estate dates back to the days of Molly Brown. The historical architecture and antique details, pose the perfect backdrop for this vintage styled shoot. According to Linda Murri, “we wanted to feature all of the glam and style of the 1920’s in this shoot based off the book, The Great Gatsby.” They absolutely achieved this through the black and gold theme, sequin details, and vintage styling. Our beautiful bride wore a strapless ivory ball gown with antique beading from Compleat Couture. Her hair was styled in tight curls and adorned with a vintage broach. Our handsome groom looked as dapper as ever in his black tux graciously provided my Men’s Warehouse. The two looked like an absolute vision that we’re sure even Daisy and Jay would envy.
We so appreciate Linda Murri Photography sending over this stunning styled wedding shoot. This team did such an incredible job serving up some major Great Gatsby vibes. There’s no doubt in our minds that this session is sure to inspire all of those looking for a little Art Deco era inspiration.
