Romantic Great Gatsby Inspired Wedding

Certain weddings that we have had the pleasure of featuring are like a breath of fresh air. Everything from the photography, color scheme, venue, and overall vibe make us feel like we’ve taken a refreshing sip of ~~champagne~~ water. So imagine our delight when we were sent this beautiful romantic Great Gatsby inspired wedding set in gorgeous London, Ontario.

Amidst delicate colors of blush, ivory, and gold, Anna + Tom celebrated their love. The special day happened at the classic London Hunt and Country Club within their elegant Georgian style ballroom. This painted the perfect backdrop for their formal 1920’s vibe. Anna wore a Sottero and Midgley ivory tulle ball gown with antique beading. She looked like royalty, especially with her ornate vintage hair pin. As for the fellas, Tom and his groomsmen looked absolutely dapper in their classic black tuxes. Together, this bridal party looked picture perfect.

Even though there are many, our favorite part about this wedding are the details. First and foremost, our girl Anna completely knocked the “broach bouquet” trend out of the park. The sparkly touches throughout her flowers really emphasize her formal Art Deco look and add another unique bridal element. We are also loving the tall candelabra centerpieces and string instrument band. Can you say formal vintage wedding perfection? Additionally, it’s always so great to see the incorporation of past ancestors’ wedding photos and baby photos into the event. It’s such a great way to keep family a big part of the day.
