Chances are all of you have head of a mash-up before. For those of you who are unaware, a mash-up is the mixture or combination of differing elements. Most often seen with music, this unique phenomenon can be a wonderful tool to create something truly special. That’s why we were so excited when our talented friends at Smiley Eyes Photography sent over this amazing styled shoot that we’re calling a Roaring 20’s and 1950’s bridal mash-up.

Why are we calling it a mash-up? Because it seamlessly combines style elements from both time periods. The red-lip, polished up-do, and birdcage veil all hail from the 1950’s whereas the beaded sheath dress and luxurious furs are giving us major 1920’s socialite vibes. So in other words, our style inspiration for Happy Hour this afternoon.

Seriously, this vendor team did such an amazing job creating a shoot that combines the beauty from both eras! We’re pretty sure you’ll love it too.
